The cost of seeing a GP in the Upper Hunter continues to rise.
The Herald reports data from Medicare shows the average out-of-pocket cost to see a GP has risen by 58 percent in a decade.
In the June quarter this year, the gap fee was $47.06.

This rose from $41.04 12 months ago and from $29.80 in 2013/14.
