The Federal Coalition has pledged to conduct in-depth consultation with the Muswellbrook community before placing a nuclear reactor near the town.
Shadow Energy Minister Ted O’Brien came to the town yesterday with New England MP Barnaby Joyce to have lunch with Chamber of Commerce members and local councillors.
Mr O’Brien said there’ll be no surprises when it comes to a nuclear power plant at Liddell.
