Skills Required
Selection Criteria: Essential: Current approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification and experience in a similar role. Obtain and maintain a current Working with Children check. Reports to: Early Learning Centre Coordinator Possess and maintain current approved First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification. Understanding of development practices for children 0 – 6 years. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Current unrestricted drivers licence. Desirable: Current approved Child Protection qualification. Experience working in an early education and care setting (preferably long day care). Awareness of the requirements of the National Quality Framework. Approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
