Scone Arts & Craft Inc Open Day

Scone Arts and Craft Inc will be holding an Open Day on Saturday March 2nd from 10am to 2pm.

We will have information available and be displaying some of the regular activities held at the centre.  We will provide exciting news on upcoming workshops and you will be able to tour the facilities that are available for the community to hire.  There will also be a pop-up exhibition showcasing the work of our many talented artists.

This will not only be a great day to get to know more about Scone Arts & Craft Inc but there will also be a suggestion box for you to pop your ideas about possible workshops, classes etc. We are currently planning future activities and your input would be appreciated.

Our current program includes: (more to come)

10.30am Chair Yoga with Nicole.  A free 30 minute FREE class to try out this popular way to do Yoga.

1.00pm   Scone Singers will hold a mini concert of a few of their popular songs.

Ceramic studio will be open all day to tour.   Joanne Van Hees will be available to discuss the different stages of working with clay and opportunities to learn.

Sit & Sew group will have some of the beautiful patchwork and quilts on display.  Members will be available to discuss their work and ways to be involved.

The Come and Create group and Friday Painters will be set up and would love you to talk to them about opportunities to join.

The Bridge Club are going to be playing a couple of games of bridge.  This is your opportunity to find out how you can be involved.

A.D.F.A.S  will have information about up and coming lectures and how to become a member.

Libby from Genesis Creations will be demonstrating fabric dyeing.

There will be a display of felt hats by Jo Barr and an opportunity to find out more about her upcoming workshop.

Further information about our Celebration of Colour project will also be available.
