Do you enjoy public speaking, presenting ideas, and building confidence?

The Rotary Clubs of the Upper Hunter invite young people aged 15-18 years to participate in the 2026 Youth Public Speaking Competition.

Competition Format

🎙 Prepared Speech

• Deliver a 5-minute speech on a topic of your choice.
• Include one of Rotary’s Four-Way Test principles.

🎙 Impromptu Speech

• Deliver a 2-minute speech on an allocated topic.

Club Competitions
Held during August 2026 (Muswellbrook entries close 3 September 2026).

Upper Hunter Final
Winners from each club competition progress to the Upper Hunter Final, held by the end of October 2026.

District Final
The Upper Hunter winner advances to the Rotary District Final in Tamworth at the end of November 2026.
