The NSW Nationals and Liberals have committed to fixing a legal problem that has seen wine producers, including those in the Hunter Valley, charged land tax for turning their grapes into wine.

The Coalition says primary production land tax exemptions have been denied to wineries because the dominant revenue of the business comes from wine sold at the cellar door. It says the NSW wine industry has called on the State Government to fix the problem for 18 months, but nothing has been done.
