37th Annual Charity Horse Ride

Denman support group for Westpac Rescue Helicopter are holding their 37th Annual Charity Horde ride raising much needed funds for the Westpac Helicopter.  The day starts with a BBQ breakfast before heading off on a 20 kilometer ride through private property and pristine vineyards, we stop for morning tea & lunch before heading back to the Denman Pony Club Grounds for an auction & an evening of fellowship and entertainment listening to a very talented solo singer. all whilst enjoying a BBQ dinner around the enormous fire baskets

Denman Westpac Rescue Annual Charity Horse Ride Information

Raising much needed funds for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter so no one that uses the service ever has to pay.

We are holding our 37th Annual charity ride on the 12th September 2026 at the Denman Pony Club Grounds Bell Street Denman.

We offer Free camping on Friday & Saturday nights with hot showers for the humans & secure pens for the horses, our group cooks at BBQ tea on both Friday & Saturdays nights at minimal cost.

Registrations can be done Friday evening whilst introducing yourselves to us, we are all very friendly & willing to help & this allows you an extra 15 minutes in bed on Saturday morning.

Saturday morning, we start the day with Bacon & Egg Rolls at minimal cost & a Coffee van is in attendance, we aim to head out on the ride at 8am, everyone must be registered prior to heading out.

We stop for morning tea of fresh made sandwiches & yummy cakes & slices kindly supplied by our local Lions & View Clubs again at minimal cost, with coffee van in attendance, before heading off through private property & vineyards.

The lunch stop, where we enjoy a steak or sausages sandwiches is in a gorgeous setting over looking grape vine & the Goulburn River. After lunch we head back to the Pony Club grounds arriving mid-afternoon where, you can use the designated wash bays to wash your horse & the humas can just chill out & get ready to enjoy some live entertainment around the fire baskets & enjoy some social time with us & fellow riders, Dinner Saturday night is available to purchase again at minimal cost.

We have an auction after the ride as well as a few raffles.

Bar facility, selling Beer & mixed drinks.

The ride is suitable for all levels of riders, distance of ride is about 20ks.

Under 18 must wear a helmet.
