Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Hunter Valley region.
Jamie White, aged 42, was last seen at the camping grounds at Allyn River near Upper Allyn, about 112 kilometres north of Newcastle, around 11pm on Monday night. When he could not be located or contacted, officers from the Hunter Valley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police say they hold concerns for Jamie’s welfare as the search continues.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175 centimetres tall, with a thin build, black hair and black facial hair. He was last seen wearing all black winter clothing.
Jamie is known to frequent the Branxton area. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Hunter Valley Police District or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
