Plans to expand the Ravensworth Composting Facility are now on public exhibition, with community feedback open until 20 May.

The existing resource recovery facility currently has approval to process up to 200,000 tonnes of organic material per year, along with associated water drainage, leachate management and supporting infrastructure.

The proposed Modification 3 application seeks approval to increase processing capacity to 250,000 tonnes annually, allow the receival and processing of municipal and commercial food organics and garden organics material, and install a weighbridge at the site.
